The founders of bhsl have been rearing poultry in West Limerick for generations. The bhsl research & design centre is situated in the Kantoher Business Park, a centre for renewable energy companies only 3 miles from the founders’ home place.

From these rural roots bhsl has grown through partnerships across Europe, Asia and America.

Manufacturing for European market is served through a joint venture with the Turkington Group in Northern Ireland. Manufacturing and sales for Asia are provided by bhsl Asia Limited, a joint venture with a South Korean company. bhsl have teamed with an Italian company to provide a large electricity generation product. bhsl have had a full time presence in America for 2 years and will shortly commission a demonstration plant in the Chesapeake Bay area.
